Mayflower Theatre Evacuation Plan

Established in 1928, the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton is a Grade II listed building with a seating capacity in excess of 2,200. The theatre is split over sevral levels and proved to be a complex environment to draw.

Mike Hann, Health and Safety manager for the theatre wanted to bring the building plans up to date and ensure that the final evacuation plans were accurate and included evacuation routes and equipment for mobility impaired.

Our team visited the theatre and spent time with Mike to ensure we full understood both his requirements and also had a good grasp of the floor and theatre design.

“Silver Bear Design have done an absolutely cracking job for us and the whole project from start to finish has been very, very professional”, Mike Hann, Health and Safety Manager.
